We are seeking an accomplished academic psychiatrist to lead our Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. As Department Head and Program Medical Director, you will be responsible for advancing clinical care, research, and education in mental health at a high international standard.
The successful candidate will possess a strong academic background, with a focus on leadership and strategic planning. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement initiatives that improve patient care, education, and research in mental health.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the Department of Psychiatry and advancing mental health care at UHN
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to improve patient care, education, and research
- Collaborating with CAMH to advance the partnership and provide high-quality, integrated care
- Providing clinical leadership and practicing clinically approximately two days per week
