As an Employment Resource Advisor/Junior Employment Consultant with WCG International Consultants Ltd., you will play a vital role in supporting clients in achieving sustainable employment. This position provides a consistent, professional, and welcoming environment for clients to access the information, tools, and resources needed to undertake job search, career planning, and other employability-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with initial eligibility determination, identity verification, and client sign-in
  • Phone clients to remind them of appointments
  • Conduct a Client Needs Assessment with eligible clients
  • Collaborate with clients to develop, update, and revise action plans
  • Manage client case files in the primary information system (ICM)
  • Support and monitor client progress
  • Collaborate with other organizations to coordinate client services and financial supports
  • Provide services in a welcoming, safe, and professional manner
  • Stay up-to-date on employment programs and funding sources
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service and coaching clients
  • Successful track record helping clients overcome barriers
  • Knowledge of the local labour market and community resources
  • Solid understanding of confidentiality and professional codes of conduct
  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Computer literacy and ability to work in different locations
