We are seeking an experienced Employment Resource Advisor to join our team at WCG International Consultants Ltd. As an Employment Resource Advisor, you will provide clients with a consistent, professional, and welcoming environment to support them in achieving sustainable employment.

You will assist clients with initial eligibility determination, identity verification, and client sign-in, as well as conduct client needs assessments and develop individualized action plans. You will also be responsible for managing client case files, collaborating with other organizations, and providing services in a welcoming, safe, and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with completion of initial eligibility determination, identity verification, and client sign-in

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service and coaching clients
  • Successful track record helping clients to overcome barriers to meet identified goals and targets
  • Knowledge of the local labour market, community resources, government programs, job search techniques, career development, and issues relating to unemployment
  • Solid understanding of confidentiality and other professional codes of conduct
  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., career or employment development, vocational rehabilitation, social work, psychology, sociology, human services, counselling, education, or human resources management) preferred
