The Team Lead at Roots is a key member of our store leadership team, responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assist store management in operational functions, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
  • Partner with store management to develop and implement action plans to optimize store performance and improve operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of new associates through onboarding and training programs.
  • Coach and develop team members to improve their customer service skills and sales performance.
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee and delegate tasks to team members to maximize store efficiency and productivity.
  • Communicate individual and team performance feedback to store management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, and any inventory duties as directed.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve sales targets.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, closing, and holidays.
