The Role
The Corporate Documentation Clerk is responsible for providing support to the corporate services group. This role will work on reviewing and organizing corporate minute books in anticipation of the digitization of records. This position plays a critical role in our records maintenance and record compliance process. This position requires full time in-office attendance.

Responsibilities
- Review and organize physical corporate files according to established standards to prepare them for digitization.
- Exercise discretion and judgment when reviewing and organizing documents within the corporate records.
- Perform ongoing quality control throughout the review and organization process.
- Data entry focused on client information and client documentation.
- Organize, label and file electronic files.
- Act as a point of contact for professionals and staff for status of corporate files within the digitization process.
- Scan documents as required.

Qualifications
- Post secondary education or equivalent experience. Education in office administration, paralegal or legal assistant studies is considered an asset.
- Experience working in Corporate Law and handling minute books would be considered a strong asset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Nuance PDF or Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong organizational skills with an excellent attention to detail.
- Strong keyboarding skills
- Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to work effectively with other staff and professionals
