The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Director of Marketing and Communications to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing and communications strategies that elevate our brand, engage our stakeholders, and drive support for our programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Strategy and Execution
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and drive website traffic.
    • Oversee the development and execution of social media campaigns to engage our audience and drive traffic to our website.
    • Manage and optimize our website to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Communications and Brand Management
    • Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets and manage media inquiries.
    • Coordinate press releases and media coverage to ensure consistent messaging across all communications channels.
    • Position our spokespeople as go-to experts for commentary and interviews.
  • Team Leadership and Management
    • Lead a team of marketing and communications professionals to develop and execute marketing and communications strategies.
    • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to ensure their growth and success.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
    • 8+ years of marketing and communications experience at a director level.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing and communications strategies.
    • Strong marketing executional skills to increase ROI.
    • Strategic business sense, including the development and management of operational plans and budgets.
    • Ability to project manage multiple initiatives at the same time.
    • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal.
    • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others.
