About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Fleet Operations Manager to join our team at ETLAS FREIGHT. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our transportation fleet, ensuring that our services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of our transportation operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Logistics and Scheduling: Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring that our services are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our transportation operations comply with all relevant regulations and laws, including those related to safety, security, and environmental sustainability.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring that our services are delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Negotiation and Procurement: Negotiate with suppliers and service providers to secure the best possible rates and services for our transportation operations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance of our transportation operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Work Setting: Trucking company
  • Supervision: More than 20 people
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure
