Job Description

We are in search of a driven and skilled Fleet Operations Supervisor to join our organization in Windsor, Ontario, reporting directly to the Director of Transportation. In this role, you will be tasked with managing a team of drivers across various sites, ensuring the safe and effective functioning of our transportation fleet. Your responsibilities will include supervising drivers, enhancing delivery routes, and upholding exceptional standards of safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and directing a team of drivers
  • Offering support and direction for optimal operational performance
  • Managing daily operations and enforcing safety protocols
  • Coordinating driver schedules and route planning
  • Evaluating driver performance and initiating enhancements
  • Ensuring adherence to transportation regulations
  • Maintaining precise records and documentation

Required Qualifications

  • AZ or DZ license is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity
  • At least 5 years of experience in transportation or logistics
  • Familiarity with safety standards and compliance regulations
  • Strong leadership and communication capabilities
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation management systems
  • Experience with GEOTAB is an advantage
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary
