We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Philanthropy (Asian Community) to join our team at Richmond Hospital Foundation. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare in Richmond by engaging our diverse community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead major gift fundraising efforts, cultivating relationships and soliciting donations from prospective donors.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of 100 to 150+ major gift prospects/donors, ensuring personalized and effective stewardship.
  • Collaborate with key volunteers, including Board members and Chinese Giving Ambassadors, to expand donor networks.
  • Represent the Foundation at select events, speaking on behalf of the organization.
  • Provide leadership and support to the Philanthropy Officer and Coordinator.
  • Ensure the accuracy and cultural sensitivity of the Foundation's Chinese marketing materials.
  • Organize donor-focused events tailored to the Chinese community.
Requirements
  • Business degree and/or professional certification (e.g. CFRE).
  • At least 3+ years of major gifts fundraising experience with a track record of securing $25,000+ donations.
  • Leadership experience in a non-profit environment, with expertise in 'moves management.'
  • Deep understanding of the local Asian community and cultural nuances.
  • Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, with strong skills in Chinese character writing.
  • Experience with Chinese social media platforms, particularly WeChat.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
