We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team at ANDRITZ AG. Key Responsibilities- Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement the organization's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, including the preparation of financial forecasts and long-term financial plans.
- Provide financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making.
- Financial Management:
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, business controlling, and financial reporting.
- Manage working capital and optimize financial performance.
- Prepare and review monthly/yearly reporting packages for U.S. and Canadian divisions' financial statements.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Establish performance metrics and manage the finance team to achieve organizational goals.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
- Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Present financial results and insights to the executive team, board of directors, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other Pulp and Paper divisions on Automation and Digitalization performance.
- Collaborate with other department heads to provide financial guidance and support.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Master's degree preferred.
- At least 10 years' experience in progressively senior-level financial or accounting/audit positions, ideally with a large international corporation.
- Demonstrated supervisory capabilities.
- Skilled in financial analysis, preparation of statements, and corporate reporting.
- Able to identify risks as well as opportunities to provide feedback on decisions affecting financial results of the company.
- Strong PC skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP accounting systems.
We offer a competitive salary range of $170,000 to $200,000 CAD based on a 37.5-hour work week, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
