We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Philanthropy to join our team at Richmond Hospital Foundation. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage and inspire our community to support our mission.
Key Responsibilities- Major Gift Fundraising: Identify, cultivate, and solicit major gift donors to support our mission.
- Donor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain a portfolio of 100 to 150+ major gift prospects/donors, and provide timely reports to the Chief Philanthropy Officer.
- Donor Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on gift activities, donors, and prospects using our donor database.
- Event Planning: Collaborate with key external volunteers, including Board members and community leaders, to plan and execute donor-focused cultivation/fundraising events.
- Marketing and Communications: Develop and edit marketing materials, including Chinese-language content, to ensure accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
- Team Support: Provide guidance and support to the Philanthropy Officer and Philanthropy Coordinator.
- Education and Experience: Business degree and/or professional certification (e.g. CFRE), with a minimum of 3+ years' major gifts fundraising experience.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven leadership skills in a non-profit fundraising environment, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Cultural Competence: In-depth knowledge of the local Asian community, with the ability to research, write, and deliver compelling stories or concepts.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in WeChat and other Chinese social media platforms, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
