At RhynoCare, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. We are currently seeking a skilled Patient Safety Observer to join our team.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to work as part of our interdisciplinary care team. As a Patient Safety Observer, you will be responsible for observing and supporting patients who require close supervision due to their behavior or risk factors.
Key Responsibilities- Observation and Support: Observe patients assigned to your care and provide support to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Safety Precautions: Implement safety precautions to prevent harm to patients and staff, including violence prevention strategies.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to facilitate care planning and ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient observations and interactions.
- Education: Minimum Grade 11 or equivalent education as recognized by the Ministry of Education, Province of Ontario.
- Experience: One year of recent related experience in patient care, hospital, long-term care, or complex continuing care setting required.
- Skills: Must be fluent in speaking and documenting in English, possess excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Certifications: Current Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification and proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (MMRV), diphtheria, pertussis, and hepatitis B.
RhynoCare offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
