About the Role:

Thomas Cavanagh Construction Limited is seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project information using Autodesk Build project management software and Microsoft Project for scheduling.
  • Manage document control, RFI management, contract/change management, and shop drawing management.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Prepare regular, timely, and accurate billings for Project Managers, ensuring that all financial obligations are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Owners, Consulting teams, and other stakeholders, communicating effectively and professionally.
  • Engage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure common goals are achieved and corporate interests are protected.
  • Participate in business development with other internal team members to help grow the General Contracting division.
  • Manage, mentor, and train internal staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Develop and maintain Operation and Maintenance Manuals, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest quality standards.
  • Assist with estimating, tendering, and job showings as needed, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience coordinating projects in the ICI or Condo/Apartment Building industry.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
  • Impeccable integrity and a strong commitment to ethics.
  • Willingness to learn and grow professionally, with a strong desire for continuous improvement.
  • Strength in analysis and creative problem-solving, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Experience with COR (Certificate of Recognition) and Autodesk Build is considered an asset.
