Job Description

**Job Title:** Contract Management Specialist

**Job Summary:** Global Pharma Tek is seeking a highly skilled Contract Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing competitive procurement projects, leading RFP projects, and ensuring compliance with Canadian procurement law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage competitive procurement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Lead RFP projects, including chairing proponents' meetings, writing and overseeing evaluation criteria documentation, and leading debrief sessions with unsuccessful proponents.
  • Facilitate evaluation of proposals for multiple projects, ensuring accurate and compliant evaluation decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and optimize procurement processes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in contract management, procurement, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing complex procurement projects, including RFPs and IT procurements.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian procurement law, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal education in a related field, such as business, computer science, or supply chain management.
  • Procurement designation or graduate certificate, such as CIPS or IACCM.
  • Experience working with IT procurements and contracting models.
