Role Summary
Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Financial Services, the Director of Supply Chain Operations is responsible for managing the daily supply chain activities and overseeing a team that includes the Contracts Manager, Senior Procurement Advisor, and Purchasing Officers.
The Director will spearhead the creation and execution of exemplary supply chain management practices, policies, and systems that align with the procurement needs of the organization.
This role encompasses the oversight of the sustainable procurement framework, ensuring compliance with relevant initiatives and tracking outcomes effectively.
The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Business Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a professional certification from a recognized Supply Management or Procurement body is required, along with three (3) to five (5) years of direct public procurement experience, ideally within an educational context, including one (1) to three (3) years in a supervisory capacity.
The compensation for this position ranges from $106,897 to $153,666, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension plan.
