About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Moving On Up Home Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and materials across our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Management: Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of inventory, shipping, and receiving operations.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, laws, and company policies related to transportation and logistics.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of 11-15 logistics professionals to achieve exceptional performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management is an asset
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license, criminal record check, driver's validity license check, and driving record check (abstract)
