As an Administrative Support Specialist with our BC Region office, you'll be part of this dynamic team and play a crucial role in supporting our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting day-to-day operations by performing administrative tasks for your manager, department, or team.
  • Developing and maintaining customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Ensuring accurate document control and compliance through filing, composing, and editing documents and reports.
  • Capturing, documenting, and distributing meeting minutes and agendas.
  • Managing email, calendars, and meeting schedules on behalf of others.
  • Assisting with planning meetings and events, including arranging catering, booking locations, and distributing information.
  • Arranging travel, hotel, and car reservations and preparing travel itineraries.
  • Organizing, tracking, and logging administrative project data.
  • Greeting visitors and answering their questions, directing them to meeting rooms, and connecting them with employees.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma; an associate's or bachelor's degree in office administration is considered an asset.
  • 1-3 years of experience as an administrative assistant.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • An ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to change.
  • An ability to handle confidential information and manage difficult situations with discretion.
  • An ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • An ability to create, edit, proofread, and format documents and presentations.
  • An ability to quickly learn and master new software and tools to support tasks.
  • Intermediate skills in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Bluebeam, and OneNote.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
