Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Support Specialist to join our team at Cowan Insurance Group. As a Client Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will be a strong communicator, able to work independently and as part of a team, and be self-motivated to meet service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process renewals in our broker management system Epic
  • Quote client policies in Applied Rating Services
  • Review policies for gaps in coverage and identify coverage enhancement opportunities
  • Process varied terms notices received from our carriers
  • Review new business and renewal policies to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Follow up with insurance carriers for late renewals

Requirements

  • RIBO license or ability to obtain RIBO an asset
  • CAIB or CIP designations (or working toward designations) would be an asset
  • Strong communication skills; written and verbal
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage high volume while maintaining attention to detail
  • Professional, proactive, and positive work attitude is essential
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
  • Experience with EPIC would be an asset
