Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Crosswood Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate construction projects, including preparing production reports and scheduling activities.
  • Lead and train a team of workers, including apprentices, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to complete projects successfully.
  • Manage and maintain equipment and machinery, including setting up and testing new equipment.
  • Estimate costs and materials, and ensure that projects are completed within budget.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work environment is safe and healthy for all employees.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including hiring and training new employees.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, and requisition or order materials and equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably in construction or a related industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
