Job Description

The Construction Site Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards;
  • Scheduling and coordinating project activities, including labor, materials, and equipment;
  • Supervising site staff, including foremen, laborers, and contractors;
  • Maintaining accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, schedules, and meeting minutes;
  • Collaborating with the project manager and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as a Construction Site Supervisor, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent;
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct site staff;
  • A thorough understanding of construction practices, methods, and procedures;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure;
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
