Job Title: Construction Site Supervisor - Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor - Project Coordinator to join our team at Crosswood Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise construction projects, including preparation of production and other reports
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities, including overseeing apprenticeship training
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Train or arrange for training, including setting up machines and equipment
  • Estimate costs and materials, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Recommend personnel actions, and read blueprints and drawings
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies, and lead or instruct individuals
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work under pressure, and provide physical accessibility accommodations
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports persons with disabilities
  • Assistance with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees
  • Support for mature workers, including phased retirement options
  • Support for visible minorities, including hiring policies that discourage discrimination
