Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Concordia Hospital. As a key member of our Respiratory Therapy department, you will provide therapeutic, diagnostic, technical, and teaching services to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory therapy services to patients, including therapeutic, diagnostic, and technical interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and evaluate patient progress.
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Manitoba Association of Respiratory Therapists (MARRT) is required.
  • Recent and related clinical experience is preferred.
  • Entry-to-practice academic credential in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited Canadian program or a MARRT-approved equivalent is required.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training is required.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and deadlines. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
