About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at EPCM. As a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our grounds and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Direct and supervise a team of grounds maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
    • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet the needs of the department.
  • Grounds Maintenance
    • Plan and direct the maintenance and upkeep of grounds, including planting, pruning, and mowing.
    • Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative walls, and other outdoor features.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Manage work schedules and ensure that tasks are completed on time and within budget.
    • Plan and estimate labor and materials for projects.
    • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving
    • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and other stakeholders to ensure that goals and objectives are met.
    • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to staff.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a team of professionals. The work schedule will be 35 to 40 hours per week.

The language of work is English.
