Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Trans-United Consultants Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and building infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance of plant equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Supervise and train a team of maintenance personnel, as well as select and manage outside contractors as needed.
  • Develop and implement maintenance expense budgets, including spare parts inventory and capital expenditures for replacement equipment.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to production employees as required.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, as well as company policies and legislative requirements.
  • Plan and execute activities and projects aligned with the needs of the company.
  • Develop and implement procedures to maximize operational reliability and develop a preventive maintenance program to ensure uninterrupted service and safe, cost-effective operation of all equipment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced experience and knowledge with production equipment, tight tolerances, and mechanical pumping systems.
  • Knowledge of plastic processing equipment is an asset.
  • Ability to plan and organize work, problem-solve, and address changing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume work environment.
  • Good attendance record and leadership skills with prior experience leading a maintenance team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).
