About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at EPCM. As a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our grounds, ensuring they are well-manicured and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planting and Maintenance: Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring they are properly cared for and maintained.
  • Staff Supervision: Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient and effective grounds maintenance.
  • Planning and Organization: Organize and direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, as well as schedule work to ensure timely completion.
  • Labour and Materials Estimation: Plan and estimate labour and materials required for grounds maintenance projects.
  • Construction and Repair: Organize and direct the construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls, as well as repair and maintain equipment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate work records and logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contract Administration: Tender and administer contracts for grounds maintenance services.
  • Technical Advice: Provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure attention to detail in all aspects of grounds maintenance.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
