About the Role

The Business Development Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the firm's strategic growth initiatives. This includes providing support for business development initiatives, leading directory and award submissions, and coordinating client and firm events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Development team in organizing and executing regional client and firm events
  • Prepare templated financial reports, prospective client research, and competitive intelligence
  • Assist the business development team in tracking and analyzing client development activities
  • Support the Business Development Manager in drafting and editing proposals
  • Support the firm's digital channels, including updating the website, editing lawyer profiles, and aiding in recording videos and podcasts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, commerce, business administration, or the equivalent
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a law firm environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingualism with French would be an asset
  • Strong organizational and writing skills with sharp attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and to collaborate efficiently with internal teams
