We offer a competitive salary range of $24.76 - $26.38 per hour for this role. As an Administrative Support Coordinator, you'll provide administrative support to our interdisciplinary teams by performing various duties such as reception services, typing material, setting up and maintaining filing systems, processing incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, reports/records, and internal and courier documents.

About the Role
  • Provide reception services, including operating a multi-line switchboard, answering/directing incoming calls, taking messages, answering routine inquiries, receiving visitors, and determining when an issue or emergent situation requires escalation to the Coordinator or to other areas.
  • Type material such as correspondence, reports, and documents utilizing various wordprocessing software and computerized systems by performing functions such as inputting client information, maintaining registers, and typing hand written or general instruction and transcribing from dictaphone.
  • Collect data from various sources, enter data into computerized systems, and ensure data is kept up to date. Gather, compile, and retrieve information as required and print related reports.
  • Sets up and maintains the client and administrative filing system, according to policies and procedures designed to protect confidentiality for a variety of records such as correspondence, reports, minutes, directories, and personnel information.

You will be working closely with our interdisciplinary teams to coordinate off-site storage of records and archives, maintain a petty cash account, and perform other related duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you'll need Grade 12, plus one year of recent related office/clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience. You'll also require excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently and in collaboration with others, and physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
