At Best Yet Transport INC., we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our daily operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with an estimated salary of $50,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be working 40 hours per week and will have access to various benefits, including opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to daily operations, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements;
  • Direct and control daily operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively;
  • Evaluate daily operations and identify areas for improvement;
  • Plan and organize daily operations, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed;
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events;
  • Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries in a timely and professional manner;
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information, analyzing and interpreting results as needed;
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are available and up-to-date;
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate;
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience;
  • Perform data entry, accurately and efficiently entering information into relevant systems and databases;
  • Provide customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner;
  • Maintain and manage digital databases, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date;
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field;
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and implement projects and activities effectively;
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to identify and correct errors and inconsistencies;
  • Repetitive tasks, large workload;
