Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at LA MARQUEZA MEXICAN FOODS. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Develop and implement menus that showcase our Mexican cuisine and meet the tastes of our customers.
  • Food Preparation: Supervise the preparation of complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
  • Staff Management: Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support staff.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure that the kitchen and food service areas are clean and safe for customers and staff.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
