This is an exciting opportunity to join NL Health Services as a Senior Clinical Practice Lead - Psychology. In this role, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and residents in our province.
Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Psychologist with a Doctoral degree in Psychology to lead our clinical practice team in psychology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in psychology professional practice issues and standards, as well as demonstrated progressive clinical, management, and leadership experience.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be able to build effective partnerships, and have a dynamic leadership style that aligns with our organization's values of respect, integrity, fairness, connectedness, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain structures that support professional practice through a Professional Practice Model.
- Work closely with psychologists, creative arts therapists, sexologists, and managers to ensure client-centered care and best practices.
- Identify policies and continuing professional development opportunities to support professional practice.
- Liaise with outside agencies such as educational institutions, professional colleges/associations, unions, and the Department of Health and Community Services.
- Registration with the NL Psychology Board is required.
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive clinical and professional leadership experience in psychology.
- Previous management experience is an asset.
NL Health Services offers a competitive salary of $86,470 - $112,411 per annum, as well as a range of benefits including travel opportunities across the province.
