At Fasken, we are seeking a seasoned Senior Director of Professional Development to drive our regional talent services in British Columbia. This integral role will play a pivotal part in supporting our core operations by coordinating regional programs for legal professionals.

The successful candidate will champion continuing professional development programs, career development, capacity management, performance management, and overall talent retention and acquisition strategies. They will spearhead our student and associate programs, ensuring the entire cycle from hiring and mentoring to training, work assignment, and performance reviews is seamless.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, providing value-added advice and services to optimize the contributions of our most valuable assets – our people. They will align our strategic objectives with Fasken's vision while fostering a collaborative and engaging environment.

This role requires exceptional project management skills, proficiency in marketing, relationship-building, and enhancing firm profile. The successful candidate will also have strong time management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
