We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Human Resources Leader to join our team at Compassionate Care. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per year.

Job Summary

The Strategic Human Resources Leader will be responsible for overseeing the classification and rating of occupations, as well as planning, developing and implementing recruitment strategies. They will also manage contracts, training and development strategies, and oversee the analysis of employee data and information.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Oversee the classification and rating of occupations
  • Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies
  • Manage contracts
  • Manage training and development strategies
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  • Oversee development of communication strategies
  • Oversee the preparation of reports
  • Advise senior management
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints
  • Liaise with management, union officials and HR consultants
  • Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Oversee payroll administration
  • Conduct performance reviews
Requirements
  • More than 20 people supervisory experience
  • Master's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in human resources or related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Judgement and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
