We are currently seeking a Clinical Mental Health Professional to join our team in Fort St John.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health and addiction, with experience working with First Nations communities. The ideal candidate will be able to provide comprehensive assessments, care planning, and treatment coordination for designated clients and their families.

Responsibilities will include providing direct psychosocial care, counseling, and group work, as well as system navigation and advocacy, education, and linkage to relevant specialized complex care resources.

The position will also involve working collaboratively with other healthcare providers and the multidisciplinary team to provide client-focused care that demonstrates compassion, empathy, and understanding.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing critical support to clients and their families in need.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $91 per hour, making it an attractive option for those looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Requirements for this position include a minimum of two years' recent related experience in mental health and addiction, preferably in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with First Nations organizations and communities.

A strong understanding of theories, practices, and principles related to mental wellness, suicide prevention, and mental health emergency response is also essential. Additionally, knowledge of Aboriginal/First Nations mental wellness health system needs is required.

This is a permanent full-time position, requiring travel to First Nations communities surrounding Fort St John and area.
