As a registered nurse at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), you will be part of an interdisciplinary team that delivers exceptional client care across all inpatient units. This internal float pool position is perfect for those who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with mental illness and addiction.

We are currently seeking three part-time, permanent Registered Nurses to join our team. As a member of our team, you will work 12-hour shifts (days and nights) as well as weekends. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement interprofessional client-centred care plans, provide high-quality nursing care to patients/clients and families, and engage in ongoing learning to achieve this goal.

You will be onboarded and cross-trained to work across all inpatient clinical areas, including acute, forensics, rehab, and specialty units. Your skills will include behavioral observations, physical and mental status assessments, monitoring client responses to interventions, and effective communication with other team members.

The successful candidate must be a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess a current B.C.L.S. (CPR) certificate. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in mental health nursing, psychiatric/mental health certification, and CAN certification. A B.Sc.N degree and proficiency in French or another second language are also assets.

This part-time, permanent position is a 0.5 commitment, which may be subject to change as per the Collective Agreement. Additional hours may be available based on operational needs.

Estimated Salary: $83,000 - $113,000 per year
