The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is a leading mental health and addiction teaching hospital, fully affiliated with the University of Toronto. We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Clinical Leader to join our team.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you lead and advance clinical practice in specialty mental health programs at CAMH. Reporting to the Director of Child, Youth Emerging Adults Program and the Director of Addictions, you will work closely with interprofessional teams to provide exceptional care to clients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical leadership and support to inpatient and outpatient point-of-care teams
  • Develop and implement best practices in assessment, care planning, and discharge planning for clients with severe mental health challenges, substance use, and trauma histories
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to develop integrated care pathways and enhance patient outcomes
  • Participate in program planning and evaluation, quality improvement initiatives, and patient and staff safety strategies
  • Precept graduate students and engage in evaluation and research activities
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a health sciences discipline
  • Membership in good standing with a regulatory College
  • Eligibility for cross-appointment with the University of Toronto
  • Five years of clinical experience working with clients with children and youth, mental health, and/or addiction
