We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Amazing Space Interiors. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating office administrative procedures, establishing work priorities, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Job Summary

The Administrative Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our office. This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. They will also possess excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Microsoft Office, and MS Excel.

Salary: $55,000 annually (negotiable). We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a wellness program, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate, and implement new procedures.
  • Establish work priorities, delegate work to office support staff, and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed.
  • Carry out administrative activities associated with admissions to post-secondary educational institutions.
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Coordinate and plan for office services, such as accommodation, relocations, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services.
  • Conduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, contracting project planning, and management processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Microsoft Office, and MS Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with Canadian working culture or practice is an asset.
Working Conditions

The Administrative Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. They will be required to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
