Technical Support Specialist

Punjab Wireless Ltd. is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer hardware and software. Your duties will include consulting user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions, as well as providing advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer hardware and software, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, providing support to users in a variety of settings, including computer hardware or software retailers/wholesalers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to users experiencing difficulties with computer hardware and software
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • Supervise other technical support workers in this group
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide support to users in a variety of settings
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
