They will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, as well as identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain product knowledge
  • Cold call on physicians and build new relationships
  • Develop and maintain proper physician and retail records
  • Call on pharmacies in drug, food, and mass retail store locations
  • Communicate with pharmacists and execute sales through store managers/owners
  • Accountable for new sales opportunities and maintaining current product distribution
  • Manage a dedicated sales territory
  • Monitor competitive activity
  • Communicate with the district manager to ensure mutual understanding of business objectives

Requirements

  • Degree in Health Sciences or Business
  • 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Comfortable with frequent travel within assigned territory
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
