Nurse Educator

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to fill the position of Clinical Nurse Educator at Fraser Health.
As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will be responsible for developing and delivering educational programs that enhance clinical practice and promote best patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement evidence-based educational programs that meet the needs of staff and patients/client/residents/families.
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that promote best practices and support patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with other practice leaders to provide leadership, consultation, and performance support to clinical staff.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Support staff in planning and carrying out patient/client/resident/family education about discharge planning, illness prevention, and health maintenance.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Three (3) years of recent related clinical experience in the designated clinical area, including one (1) year of education and/or leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid BC Driver's License and access to personal vehicle for business-related purposes, as required.
