Senior Client Manager, Commercial Lines Expert

Jones DesLauriers Insurance Management Inc. is seeking a seasoned Senior Client Manager, Commercial Lines to lead our commercial insurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to mentor and develop others.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a book of business, servicing clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Work closely with producers and other staff to deliver exceptional client service and achieve business goals
- Maintain a high level of retention on your book of business, with a goal of 95% or higher
- Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads, contributing to departmental production goals
- Prepare proposals for prospects and stewardship reviews for existing clients
- Manage account documentation, including routine inquiries, quotes, binders, and insurance contracts
- Review client coverage and exposures, analyzing risk to determine product/service requirements
- Participate in cross-sell campaigns and other initiatives as required
- Actively develop knowledge of related insurance products and client needs
- Minimum 10 years of commercial insurance experience required
- R.I.B.O. license required
- C.I.P. or C.A.I.B. designation(s) preferred
- Solid understanding of policy wordings/coverages
- Ability to mentor others and proven negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to be a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills
