Job Title: Insurance Commercial Lines Senior Manager

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Insurance Commercial Lines Senior Manager to join our team at Jones DesLauriers Insurance Management Inc. in Mississauga, ON.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a renewal book of business and work closely with producers and other staff on client service, marketing, and renewal.
  • Maintain a persistently high-level retention rate on the book of business and achieve a retention rate of 95% or higher.
  • Provide same-day response time to clients and set clear expectations by maintaining open communication.
  • Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads, and contribute to meeting departmental production goals.
  • Responsible for preparing proposals for prospect and stewardship reviews, and managing account documentation.
  • Analyze risk to determine product/service requirements, maintain up-to-date EPIC workflow documentation, and ensure workflows are followed.
  • Participate actively in cross-sell campaigns and other initiatives as required, and maintain positive working relationships with clients, staff, and other departments.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of commercial insurance experience required.
  • R.I.B.O. license required.
  • C.I.P. or C.A.I.B. designation(s) preferred.
  • Solid understanding of policy wordings/coverages, ability to mentor others, and proven negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to be a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills as well as organizational skills.
