Your Role:

Responsible for prospecting, soliciting, developing, and maintaining business relationships with a client base primarily composed of large-scale organizations or strategic clients operating in the commercial market with the goal of growing the company.

Your Main Responsibilities:

Business Development and Visibility

  • Act as a complex account manager or one with significant impact for IQ, serving as the preferred link between the company and clients.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs to discuss their business specifics, diagnose challenges, provide advice, and prepare, if necessary, an IQ service offer tailored to their business needs.
  • Be responsible for a portfolio of financial interventions and their profitability.
  • Ensure the growth and retention of existing clients in a portfolio while acquiring new clients and creating a pipeline of business opportunities.
  • Be active in the business community, optimally targeting value-added activities to promote the company's reputation and solicit references that will facilitate the acquisition of new clients.
  • Identify promising projects and encourage businesses or partners to take advantage of the company's services.
  • Ensure sound risk management for the entire portfolio under your responsibility.
  • Ensure the appropriate use, updating, and satisfaction of the products and services offered.
  • Analyze sources of dissatisfaction and recommend solution paths.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to policies, procedures, and detailed processes, as well as trends related to credit and regulation that may impact the company.
  • Recommend strategies or solutions aimed at achieving the company's objectives, such as increasing business volume, sound risk management, portfolio profitability, and improving business relationships.
  • Conduct surveillance to identify business development opportunities aimed at supporting the competitiveness of the company's products and services.
  • Organize various promotional activities related to the company's activities.
  • Act as an expert for the entire team on financing strategies.
  • Accompany account directors or principal account directors in meetings or negotiations when the complexity of the file and the nature of the financing require it.
  • Collaborate with the unit director, professionals, or other company managers, particularly in commercial financing matters.

Administration and Follow-up

  • In collaboration with the technician, maintain business relationships with clients in the portfolio and proceed with the recovery of amounts due by businesses in arrears.

Your Specific Qualifications:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or any other relevant discipline.
  • Have a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience as a professional in business financing.
  • Have very high knowledge in financial analysis techniques, securities, and standard financing norms.
  • Be recognized in the market for their expertise.
  • Master French (spoken and written).
  • Mastery of English (spoken and written) is an asset.

Your Particular Working Conditions:

  • Have access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license. The position requires frequent travel to cover the served territory.
