The Healthy Way Medical Diagnostic Centre, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team.
This permanent full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and administrative support.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled Medical Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate medical records, and preparing reports and correspondence.
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring that all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date
- Maintain confidential medical records, both paper and electronic, in accordance with established protocols
- Prepare and edit reports, letters, and other correspondence as required
- Enter data into computer systems, accurately and efficiently
- Determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; post-secondary education or relevant experience an asset
- Minimum 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role; experience working in a medical setting an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
