About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Sushi Cove. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff to ensure efficient and effective service.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Food Quality and Control
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain inventory levels.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Prepare and submit reports on customer feedback and service quality.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and ensure accurate and timely delivery.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
