Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee your designated product area and collaborate with diverse teams to steer the product roadmap from concept through exploration to development and market launch, while adeptly managing and guiding the team through essential trade-offs.
  2. Prioritize effectively to ensure the team consistently focuses on the most significant user stories.
  3. Engage with customers through regular discussions to capture their fundamental needs and primary challenges.
  4. Establish clear and quantifiable metrics to assess the success of your value stream, along with the hypotheses that require validation throughout the process.
  5. Comprehend and affirm the genuine needs of our customers, articulating those needs clearly to both the team and the broader business.
  6. Direct and define the long-term vision and strategy for the value stream, aligning it with business and product goals through the roadmap and iterative insights.
  7. Effectively communicate this strategy to all relevant participants and stakeholders.
  8. Maintain transparency regarding prioritization, trade-offs, and the roadmap process.
  9. Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of product management skills, team productivity, and operational methodologies.

Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated success in a comparable role (you have launched features and products and can clearly articulate successes, failures, and lessons learned).
  2. Strong leadership capabilities and a sense of accountability.
  3. 4+ years of experience in a dynamic, agile setting.
  4. Ability to lead through influence, foster consensus, and ensure collective success.
  5. Willingness to interact with customers and integrate their core needs into product documentation.
  6. A data-oriented approach to product development and expansion.
  7. Capability to analyze and synthesize information effectively.
  8. A results-driven mindset focused on accomplishing key objectives.
  9. Excellent communication skills with the ability to adjust to various audiences.
  10. A genuine passion for product management and delivering value to users.
  11. A technical degree or background (ECE, SW Eng, CS) or equivalent experience is preferred.
