Job Overview

The Director of Sponsor Financial Services will oversee all financial aspects related to our sponsor relationships. This role will play a crucial part in managing sponsor accounts, optimizing processes, and providing strategic financial guidance to the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Sponsor Receivable Accounts, including Client Financial Reporting, Controls, Commissions, and Premiums.
  • Prepare and review the monthly/quarterly review with the VP & CFO.
  • Oversee financial compliance and risk management activities and project initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team to ensure high performance and continuous development.
  • Identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, automation, and digital tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with senior management and internal stakeholders across multiple teams.

Requirements

  • Accounting Designation (CPA) with 5+ years of experience in financial management or related field, with a focus on sponsor or client financial services.
  • Proven history of success in driving financial performance and managing sponsor relationships.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Highly analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
