Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team in Halifax. As a self-employed CFO, you'll work on a part-time basis, providing financial guidance and support to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic financial guidance to our clients
  • Developing and implementing financial plans and strategies
  • Managing financial risk and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with our clients' management teams to drive business growth

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a CFO in a commercial or strategic role
  • Strong network of contacts and ability to develop new relationships
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Proven track record of excellence, achievement, and entrepreneurial drive
  • Certifications such as CPA, CMA, or MBA would be an asset
