Global Sales Development Professional

C.H. Robinson is seeking a seasoned sales professional to expand our Global Forwarding division. As a driving force in securing new customers and revenue, you'll be instrumental in achieving growth through supply chain improvement recommendations and face-to-face meetings.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain relationships with customers and potential clients, ensuring ongoing success of accounts in collaboration with local assigned Account Executive/Account Manager
- Ensure alignment with branch strategies in forecasting, business planning, and pipeline development
- Foster relationships, make customer calls, and close deals while maintaining regular content within our Customer Relationships Manager (CRM) tool
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand customers' business challenges and supply chain goals for a seamless experience
- Develop tailored solutions that deliver value and support the customer's business strategy
- Conduct face-to-face visits with new prospective customers within Branch territory and respond to sales leads generated by overseas offices or assigned by your Sales Manager
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2-3 years of outside sales experience in global forwarding
- Ability to travel within assigned territory, at least 3-4 days per week
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Advanced knowledge of logistical concepts and supply chain terminology
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and persuasion skills
- Self-driven results-oriented individual with a positive outlook and clear focus on high quality and business profitability
- Keen sense for business development and hunter mentality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on location and experience. We offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and professional development.
