About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer to join our team at Dimplex North America Ltd. as a Production Systems Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integrated systems for production processes, including quality control, inventory control, logistics, and material flow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop production systems to optimize efficiency and productivity
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality products
  • Manage inventory levels and optimize logistics to reduce costs
  • Develop and maintain process standards and work instructions
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve process efficiency and reduce waste
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations
  • Develop and maintain reports and documentation to track production metrics
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • Four to six years of related experience in manufacturing or production systems
  • Practical experience in mixed model line balance and project management
  • Knowledge of engineering science and technology, including principles, techniques, and equipment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
