Key Responsibilities- Develop and scale innovative chemical engineering processes from lab to commercial scale.
- Manage input preparation, product, and side streams to optimize process efficiency.
- Integrate processes into plant design, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence.
- Oversee the design and construction of installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Create experimental plans to achieve significant testing and operational goals, driving process improvements and innovation.
- Lead and manage Lab and Operations teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Build strong relationships with team members, aligning them towards shared goals and objectives.
- Demonstrate moral authority to lead and inspire a team of seasoned experts, driving growth and sustainability.
- Contribute to the executive team's growth strategies, leveraging your expertise to drive business success.
- Develop and execute the technological strategic plan, driving innovation and process improvements.
- Registered Chemical Engineer status, with a strong ability to develop and scale processes.
- Proven experience in process engineering, with a solid understanding of theoretical and practical chemistry.
- Demonstrated project management skills, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
- Strong team management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and assertively when necessary.
- A well-funded start-up background, adaptable and proactive, with a strong ability to challenge assumptions and apply chemical principles innovatively.
- Background in innovation within the oil and gas or petrochemical sectors, with crucial research experience for pioneering new processes.
- A competitive salary range of $180,000 - $200,000, depending on experience.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage.
- A hybrid work arrangement, with in-office work for the first 6-12 months and remote work thereafter.
